My View:
"Forward" is Obama's new campaign slogan, but most do not know the history behind this slogan in past political races. Glenn Beck did a great job exposing how forward was used in Communist and Marxist campaigns in the past.

The Russian word for "forward" transliterates to "vpered" which was the name of Joseph Stalin's newspaper, "Forward for Stalin."

Under the communist leadership of Stalin, Lenin, and Mao more than 70 million people were killed because they opposed the government.

Why would President Obama chose the same campaign slogan? How would the most powerful man in the world not know the meaning behind this slogan? Or, was the decision to use the slogan done purposeful? Is there a message behind this slogan?
