"Liberal Christian" is the Ultimate Oxymoron

First of all, I must be completely honest and admit that I tend to be a little impartial when it comes to this subject, but I am going to try to keep my mind open and not be narrow-minded. Some might say that keeping my mind open is the first step to liberalism and they might be correct; but rest assured, there is no danger of me slipping over to the “dark side” of the political spectrum. 

I am a conservative christian and very proud of it. In fact, to be completely honest, I do not believe there is a such thing as a liberal christian. I consider this two-word combination to be the ultimate oxymoron. For me, the implications of “liberal christian” far overshadows any other oxymoron such as “dark light” or “living dead” because of the eternal repercussions and possibility of losing one’s soul. 

I know this is bold statement, but anyone whom interprets the Bible anywhere close to what it says should easily agree that killing helpless babies and a lack of social-economic responsibility are two core liberal beliefs that go directly against the Bible’s teachings. How can a christian go to church one day and pray for healing, then the next day condone ramming a sharp instrument into the brain of a partially born baby? The same goes for going to church one day and saying “Amen!” when the preacher preaches the principles of responsibility, taking care of and loving your children and others, paying your bills and building up treasures in Heaven and not on earth; then the next day disregard and support politicians that continue to spend away our children’s and grandchildren’s future and refuse to pass a budget and do what is best (christian) for all Americans. Just think of how many other core liberal beliefs go against God’s Holy Word. Same-sex marriage is another big one that just pops out there. How many more can you think of?

What in blazes is the world coming to? Did you know there is a hot national debate on transgender bathroom rights? There is growing support that America’s laws are not fair to those that believe they are a different gender than what is on their birth certificate. Liberal attorneys and lawyers are pushing legislature that changes the current laws on the books to allow transgender people to choose which bathroom to use.

I am sure there are transgender people out there that do feel as if they are discriminated against and many may be uncomfortable using the bathroom with the same-sex as listed on their birth certificate, but I have news for them.

I too, sometimes feel uncomfortable about using a public bathroom because I know that gay men can legally walk right in and stalk whomever they want. Maybe other men can relate with me on this; I know I am not the first guy that knew some gay guy was in the bathroom checking him out. One may ask, “How do you know he is gay?” and I would admit is hard to prove. But, sometimes the way someone dresses and talks is enough to make you 99% sure. All that matters is we know it happens, but we learn to live with it.

I submit that the proposal to allow transgender people into the bathroom of their choosing is completely fair as long as I get a bathroom that is for “straight” people only! Of course, this would have to apply to both males and females. Then, we would need bathrooms for those that are “gay” only because there may be some that feel uncomfortable being in a bathroom with straight people. While we are at it, how about bathrooms just for the transgender and other bathrooms only for transgender and gays. Of course, all these ideas are ridiculous because all of them are unenforceable.

In a complicated society such as ours, we all know that we will never make everyone happy. The only course of action is the best one, the one that makes the most sense for the majority of the people. Most Americans are straight people and transgender people make up a very small percentage of our population. So, why in the world are we going to allow such a small percentage of people the legal authority to “peep” and make good God-fearing people such as myself very uncomfortable in public bathrooms? 

Even as a liberal woman, you can’t tell me you would not think it would be a little creepy if someone who is clearly a guy that thinks he is a girl walks into the bathroom and starts talking to you while you are relieving yourself. You may not even have to see him to know because the baritone in his voice is unlike any other woman you have heard before and suggest that he could only be a man. Heck, some woman I know would immediately scream and run out of the bathroom. Some others would probably kick him in the groin and hit him over the head with their purse and call him a “pervert!” Personally, I think he deserves the latter.

Democrat or Republican? Let the Bible Decide!

Christian Democrat ... That's Impossible!

I do not know about you, but I am so tired of hearing people say they are Christians and vote Democrat. I believe it is impossible to be both because their beliefs are complete opposites of each other. I believe it is also wrong to always vote Republican and call yourself a Christian because many Republicans have beliefs that are contrary to Christian teachings as well. I believe a true Christian has to be Independent of both parties and vote for the lesser evil. It is virtually impossible to vote Democrat because one never finds a Democrat with less evil values than his or her Republican opponent.

If you know one, please cue me in so I can give him or her my full support!

Now, you are probably thinking ... "This guy is nuts!" and "How can he say such nonsense?"

Who care what I think? What really matters is what God thinks ... so ... let's take a look!

Remember, when you vote for a political candidate, you do not just vote for the person; essentially ... you vote for every ideal and belief that person holds. In short, what every impact that person has on society ... either good or bad ... is partly your responsibility.

St. Paul wrote to the church in Corinthians this, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil." 2 Corinthians 5:10

This means that God hold you personally responsible for your actions ... Good and Bad.

Let us take a look at what God thinks about the mainstream political platform that most Democrats support and vote for in the Congress and Senate. Which also translates, what you support when you support the Democrats.

What God says about "Gay Marriage and Homosexuality."
Most have heard the saying, "God made Eve and not Steve!" Well, this is true. Not because I say so, but because God believed a woman was the perfect companion for man, not another man.

"Then the Lord God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him' ... Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man." Genesis 2 18, 22 NLT

Most Abortions are done for convenience.
Approximately 93% of abortions are done out of convenience. It is very important to understand that the woman's heath is an issue only 3% of the time and rape or incest are an issue about 1% of the time. Democrats would have you think that women's health is the primary issue at stake when supporting "Pro-choice." This is not the case.
The truth is a large percentage of woman regret having an abortion later because she realizes that she did it for her own selfish reasons.

Abortion is an act of Murder.
Did your know that the term "with child" is in the Bible twenty-six times and the reference to "with fetus" does not exist.

Democrats argue that abortion is not murder because the baby is a "fetus" and does not become a human being until after birth. However, even scientist believe that life begins at the time of conception. If you do not believe me, go ahead and research the numerous scientist that attest to this fact.

As I said before, prove to me that it is possible to be both Christian and Democrat!

Why is Obama Shocked to Hear the Truth?

He's not shocked ... he's a good liar ... I mean politician!

Why has Obama expressed shock in the statement by Mitt Romney that half of our country does not pay taxes and do not care in his efforts to lower taxes. Why is so many people making such a big deal over the truth? Is it not true that our nation has become a "Nation of Entitlement?" Does not half of our population depend on the other half to take care of them?

Why should we blame them? Heck, I'm starting to get really pissed that I worked my "butt off" all these years and continue to do so every day, just to give 20% to 30% back to the government every spring. Maybe I should just sit at home, get fat, and draw a government paycheck. Hell, I've worked hard for many years, am I not entitled to do so? Of course I am! I have paid in my fair share and more! So, I could sit at home for the next 2+ years and draw a free government check but I will not because of one very important reason.

Pride!

Don't misunderstand me, there are many people that are receiving government assistance that either earned it or deserve it. Such as those with disabilities or retired veterans; what I'm talking about here is those that are simply either too lazy or think they are "too good" to flip-a-burger or take whatever job is available. There are so many people out there that have absolutely no problem with taking a handout from tax payers like me, but find it embarrassing to flip-a-burger.

Obadiah 1:3 "You have been deceived by your own pride because you live in a rock fortress and make your home high in the mountains. 'Who can ever reach us way up here?' you ask boastfully."

It blows my mind! Come on people, you should be thinking just the opposite. You might as well be standing out on the street corner with a sign around your neck that says, "Give me your money because I'm too lazy to work for my own!" What you are doing is the same thing. You should be proud to flip-a-burger, work in a warehouse, or anything else that is legal. You should find pride in the knowledge that you are "making-it" on your own.

America needs to regain this type of thinking if we ever wish to return to the great nation that we once were! I have to agree with Gov. Romney, we have become a nation of those filled with a sense of Entitlement.

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"

Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now."

God wants everyone to pay taxes
Romans 13:6-7 "Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they doe. Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor those who are in authority."

Approximately, 1% of tax payers pay 40% of the taxes and about 50% of Americans pay no taxes at all.

Would someone please tell me why Obama thinks it is fair for the rich to pay more? How can the majority of Liberals condemn Governor Romney for only paying an average of 13% of his income for the last ten years when many of their core supporter do not pay anything? On top of his taxes, Romney gives generously to charity, which amounts to over 20% of his yearly income. Compared to many of his opponents that  pay little to nothing into taxes and give nothing to charity.

Governor Romney recently released this statement, "I did go back and look at my taxes and over the past 10 years I never paid less than 13%. I think the most recent year is 13.6 or something like that. So I paid taxes every single year." Did you know that this equates to $21.7 million that he paid into taxes in one year. How much did you pay?

I believe the Democrats have good reason to keep the focus on Romney's taxes. They will do anything to keep the focus off of the important issues that everyone wants to discuss and Obama's record of failure.

Romney identifies this very well, "I just have to say, given the challenges that America faces — 23 million people out of work, Iran about to become nuclear, one out of six Americans in poverty — the fascination with taxes I've paid I find to be very small-minded compared to the brad issues that we face."

What is really appalling the me is many Liberals are very rich as well. In fact, Harry Reid the main instigator behind the effort to push Romney to release his taxes is very rich himself. Is it not hypocritical for him to ask for public release of Romney's tax returns when he has never done so himself?

What about some other very popular rich democrats such as Ted and John Kennedy and John Kerry. Why were they not expected to release their tax returns?

First, we must remember that there is no legal obligation for a political candidate to release his or her taxes in the first place. By doing so, Romney is a pioneer and should be praised for his willingness to do so. As far as  I can remember, he is the first to do it. Whether we want to admit it or not, rich Americans do drive our economy and are major influence on the economy. If we want American to succeed and flourish, we need these people to continue their innovations and build successful businesses that make jobs for the public sector. It does not make sense to support a government that punishes them for their success. If we want our country to continue to be successful, we need a government that rewards their success and applies principles that encourages economic growth.

After 4 years of failure, maybe we need a "change"; someone that understands something about success and business growth. That candidate is Mitt Romney.

The True Federal Deficit!

Did you know that the official federal deficit numbers that Congress tells us leaves out something that would be illegal for any business in the United States?

The difference between Congress and businesses is that Congress does not have to operate under GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Under these rules, businesses must report the cost of promised retirement benefits. This is also true for states and local governments, but not for Congress.

This graph from USA TODAY shows the actual federal deficit if Congress had to follow the same rules as "everyone else." In 2011, Congress reported a federal deficit of 1.3 Trillion, but the real number should of been 5 Trillion. That is a difference of 3.7 Trillion dollars.

USA TODAY reported, "Liabilities for Social Security, Medicare and other retirement programs rose by $3.7 trillion in 2011, but the amount was not registered on the government's books."

Below are some [block quotes] from USA TODAY:

• Social Security had the biggest financial slide. The government would need $22.2 trillion today, set aside and earning interest, to cover benefits promised to current workers and retirees beyond what taxes will cover. That's $9.5 trillion more than was needed in 2004.
• Deficits from 2004 to 2011 would be six times the official total of $5.6 trillion reported.




• Federal debt and retiree commitments equal $561,254 per household. By contrast, an average household owes a combined $116,057 for mortgages, car loans and other debts.

How are we, as a nation, going to solve this problem? We have got to recycle the idiots in Washington and elect true conservatives. I am not talking about another Bush or people like a majority of "so called" conservative we have in office now. We need "grass-roots" Tea Party Patriots elected and go in and "clean house." If this is not done soon, I truly believe this country "as we know it" is over.

Did you know that if we paid $1 a second on our deficit it would take over 480,000 years to pay off the existing debt we have right now! How much more can we take before our economy totally collapses. I do not think it is much longer. Please, Lord help us!

My Commentary:

OK, I agree with you! Many are very tired of hearing about Rev. Wright, but this story is different because he is finally telling the truth! I think Obama's throwing him under the bus has finally got to him and he wants everyone to know how Obama tried to "shut him up!"

I would first like to thank Edward Klein. Somehow he convinced Rev. Wright to sit down for a three hour taped interview, which he used in his new book the 'The Amateur', an unauthorized biography of President Barack Obama. This book makes some startling claims from reliable sources. He also spoke to contacts that witnessed  former president Bill Clinton calling Obama an "amateur" and after a secret poll that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton could beat Obama in the Democratic Presidential Election tried to urge her to run against Obama in the 2012 presidential election.

Everyday, more and more truths are being exposed about Obama. Everyday, Americans are learning more and more about the  most corrupt administration in America's history. Obama will do whatever is most "convenient". From shutting up political nightmares such as Rev. Wright to the financial destruction of our country, it does not matter as long as his Communist Marxist objectives are met.

During the interview, Rev. Wright talks about numerous startling subjects about Barack and Michelle, but most interesting by far was the bribery attempt by Obama. Then Senator Obama met privately in Rev. Wright's home and Wright claims that he has an email from one of Obama's closest advisers offering $150,000 if he keeps quiet. Wright claims that proof of this is kept in a secret box and everytime he sees the box, it brings back the memories of the bribery. How is this story not "headlines" for every mainstream news outlet. Except for Fox News and a few others, this story is getting the runaround from the liberal mainstream.

It does not matter, Americans are not "Idiots." The liberal media can try to hide the truth and avoid these facts all they want. Americans are very quickly starting to see the truth. Many Americans will be shocked to learn that "Hope and Change" did in fact come to America.

If was just in the form of "Marxism and Communism" and the destruction of the America we all know and love!
