Christian Alternative to ObamaCare

Did you know there is a Christian Alternative to ObamaCare? It's a nationwide network of fellow believers that help share each other's major medical bills through what's known as health care sharing ministries. Some of these ministries are like any other traditional insurance. Members have an insurance card and show it when treated just like anyone else. They have monthly premiums and a deductible, but because members are dedicated Christians that agree on a lifestyle of no drugs, no tobacco, limited alcohol, and no sex outside of marriage; the 242,00 members spanning all 50 states reap the benefits of much lower premiums and deductibles than other traditional plans. An employee of Samaritan Ministries informed me that their ministry does not have deductibles and premiums, members simply send their financial support directly to members that have incurred medical costs. With the money also comes plenty of cards, notes, encouraging letters, and most importantly, lots of prayer. What a wonderful way for the Body of Christ to take care of its own!

Each different health care sharing ministry varies some on what they will or will not cover, but all of them are exempt from the ObamaCare fines for those without health insurance.
Since the launch of HealthCare.gov on October 1st, 2013, membership in these ministries has exploded with over 30,000 new enrollees.
Another reason why many Christians are drawn to using these ministries is because they don't cover controversial procedures covered under ObamaCare such as abortion.

President Obama has given a stern warning to the Supreme Court to not overturn his landmark health care plan. He says such a decision would be “unprecedented” and “judicial activism” by “unelected judges”.

“Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”

“ And I’d just remind conservative commentators that, for years, what we have heard is, the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism, or a lack of judicial restraint, that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law,”

“Well, this is a good example, and I’m pretty confident that this court will recognize that and not take that step,” he said.

It is obvious that Obama is either using his influence as President of the United States to try and sway the Supreme Court’s decision or there is a leak within the highest court of the land and the President knows something that we do not.

Another possibility is the President is priming his base and is setting up a situation where he makes out the Republicans and the Supreme Court as the the bad guys and uses this in the upcoming election. What are your thoughts?

Obama Care Creates another $17 Trillion in Unfunded Obligations

Obama’s Health Care Reform is more expensive,
The New Senate Budget Committee estimates much more comprehensive,

Now they are $83 trillion,
Every taxpayer should be very apprehensive!

Before the passage of Obamacare, the Senate Budget Committee estimated “unfunded obligations” to be around $65 trillion. These estimates now drastically changed to $82 trillion dollars. These totals are now added to the government's existing obligations to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. This is seven times the United States annual gross domestic product.

Senator Sessions said this on Thursday, “It’s money we don’t have, but money we’re committed to spend,” “it must be removed from the books.” “It is this kind of long-term, unfunded obligation that has placed this nation’s financial situation at such great risk,” “We don’t have the money. We don’t have another $17 trillion in unfunded liabilities that we can add to our account. We have to reduce the ones that we have.”

President Obama’s OMB director said this in 2009, “To my fellow budget hawks in this room and in the rest of the country, let me be very clear: health care reform is entitlement reform. The path to fiscal responsibility must run directly through health care.”

My view:
If this is not overturned by the Supreme Court, We as the nation we know it, is doomed! Do you agree?

Another Obama Flip-Flop

Obama once was against, the “individual mandate”,

He even slammed, the Secretary of State,

Then, he hated it!

Now, he supports it!

To change his mind now, is a little late!

Now that the constitutionality of Obamacare is under review by the Supreme Court, President Obama all of a sudden has a change of heart on his view of “individual mandate”. This is the mandate that will force Americans to pay a penalty in they do not have health insurance by 2014. During the 2008 Democratic presidential primary campaign, Obama slammed Hillary Clinton because of her support of the same mandate. Obama said this, “It forces everyone to buy insurance, even if you can’t afford it, and you pay a penalty if you don’t.”

Obama said this to CBS, “I have come to the conclusion,” “During the campaign I was opposed to this idea because my general attitude was the reason people don’t have health insurance is not because they don’t want it, it’s because they can’t afford it. And if you make it affordable, then they’ll come. I am now in favor of some sort of individual mandate as long as there’s a hardship exemption.”

My opinion, Hillary would of made a much better president. Yes, she is still a liberal and would have hurt the country, but not near as much as this president has. At least she is a liberal with enough experience to know what the “HECK” is going on!
