Christian in a Muslim Nation

I here a lot of talk of about how hard Muslims have it here in the United States because of distrust caused by attacks such as 9-11 by Muslim terrorists. But, I find it hard to find anything in the mainstream media that discusses what it is like to be a Christian in a Muslim nation.
With a little research, it doesn't take one long to learn that a Christian in a Muslim nation has it much worse than any Muslim in the U.S.

 

According to christiantoday.com, Christians that live in Muslim nations ruled by Sharia Law live in constant fear. The biggest fear comes from intimidation against Christians through the use of blasphemy laws. Any disrespect toward the Muslim faith or the Prophet Mohammed will quickly find a Christian serving hard labor in prison or awaiting execution. Even worse, all it takes is an allocation against someone, no hard proof is needed to charge one with the crime of blasphemy!

 

Section 295-C of the Pakistan blasphemy laws says,
"Whoever by words, either spoken or written, or by visible representation or by any imputation, innuendo, or insinuation, directly or indirectly, defiles the sacred name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) shall be punished with death, or imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to a fine."
Makes one wonder why the Muslim faith is so popularly called, "The Religion of Peace?"

 

The next time someone makes note of how difficult Muslim citizens have it here in the U.S., remember our brothers and sisters in Christ that live in Muslim nations. When the two are compared, the Christian in a Muslim nation is the one that needs the most sympathy. After all, they are the ones that are dying every day for their faith!

Christian Persecution In America

Did you know that Christian persecution is an epidemic problem throughout the entire world? Many Americans do not realize this because they are blessed to live in one of the few places in the world that is relatively free to worship as you want without fear. But, in most other places throughout the world; Christians are not so fortunate. In countries that practice Sharia Law, Christians face severe persecution and many are killed every day.

However, do not let the false impression of freedom of religion in American fool you, Christian persecution in America is alive and well. Brothers and sisters in Christ, if there was ever a time to stand up and fight the good fight for the faith; it is now! We are continually hounded by the liberals to be accepting toward everyone, especially those of Muslim faith. However, every day Christian persecution is rising and even becoming a socially accepted norm for Americans.

 

The America culture now animatedly protects the rights and feelings of Muslims, but it's increasingly becoming socially acceptable to stomp on the rights of Christians, Catholics, and Jews. It like a snake-eating-its-tail. America, a Christian founded country is now turning on and destroying itself!

 

If you don't believe this is true, just take a few minutes and search the internet for "Christian persecution in America". It's more than just bible verses and nativity scenes being removed from the public arena. Real people are losing their jobs and basically becoming social outcasts because of their Christian faith. They are being labeled bigots and right-winged extremists because they believe the Bible should still be taught in schools. This list goes on and on. And to top it all off, you will hear very little to nothing about these stories from the main lame-stream media unless of course it has to do with Muslim persecution.

A New Gay Acceptance Church Movement

A New Gay Acceptance Church Movement

Many people do not realize that there is an intentional organized movement by gay groups to obtain gay acceptance in our churches throughout the world. More shockingly, this gay acceptance church movement is happening within churches and most of their Christian members have no clue it is happening right under their noses. You must keep in mind that these groups are not targeting liberal churches that already accept gays in their church, but demand for equal acceptance in the traditional church that most Bible believing Christians attend. In the same churches that were founded by great Saints of Christ that most Bible-believing Christians love and adore!

In the United States, Matthew Vines has become the catalyst and spokesman for this movement. His “Reformation Project” teaches other gays to influence and train believers and leaders within our churches to rethink their beliefs on gays. It is their goal to influence churches into the belief that being gay in not a sin but in his own words is, “Homophobia!” This short 4 minute video below may very well may be one the scariest videos you have seen lately if you believe homosexuality is an abomination sin as I do. Please watch and judge for yourself.

If you don’t think this is possible in your church. Take a close look at the increase in gay accepting churches and their corresponding denominations from 2010 to 2011. I do not have any more recent statistics, but one could only assume that the numbers are getting worse the more movements like this catch on.

Even though I consider myself to be a non-denomination Christian. I am very proud to be a member of a Baptist church because of its -4% percentage in this table. Nevertheless, I will stay vigilant and ensure that I am keen to pick-up on any signs of this movement coming to my church. For some of you, the percentage of new gay accepting churches in your church’s denomination may suggest that you take immediate action and learn if this movement has influenced the church you currently belong to.

Just in case anyone reading this agrees that being gay is not a sin and should be accepted by all churches, let’s read some of God’s Word and you decide for yourself.

Lev. 18:22, “You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.”

Lev. 20:13, “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them” 

1 Cor. 6:9-10, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” 

Rom. 1:26-28, “For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.”

Call me curious, but how could anyone get this message wrong? There must be some pretty powerful stuff in Mr. Vines’ “Reformation Project” to enable gays the empowerment to influence church leaders and members that homosexuality is not a sin.

If you are a member of a church that has been affected by this movement, please stand up for Christ and make it known that you will only accept the truth that is clearly written in the Bible. It is clear that any church that freely accepts gays into its membership has been mislead by the Great Deceiver, Satan. The whole world must know how the Devil is using our own churches to gain dominion over the world!

"Religion of Peace" ... Don't Think So!

Islam is NOT "The Religion of Peace!"

The "Piss Christ" photograph is a perfect example of the difference between Christians and Muslims and why each faith act so differently when persecution comes to their faith.

The fundamental difference is this, Christians have the New Testament and do their best to live by this very popular scripture.

"If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also." Luke 6:29 NLT

The timing could not be better, after all, it has only been a couple of weeks since the release of You Tube's "Innocence of Muslims" and the violence in dozens of nations against U.S. embassies which resulted in the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other American heroes.

So, why do Muslims react in such a different manner than Christians when their sacred beliefs have been "stepped on?" Why do they react violently against others that do not believe the same as they do? Maybe it is because they believe in teachings that is very different than the Christians. Maybe their core beliefs contain something very much different. Maybe the Infidels, which is us, is seen in a much different light. After all, they are "coined" the "religion of peace", but it this true? Let us look at some of their teachings and judge for yourself.

Remember, the Christian New Testament teaches Christians to "Turn the cheek" against their enemies and forgive their enemies.

Let us take a look at what the Koran tells the Muslims to do to their enemies.

"Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them." (2.191)
"Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood." (9:123)
"When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them." (9:5)
"Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax." (9:29)
"Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable." (3:85)
"Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam." (5:33)

"The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque." (9:28)
"Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies." (22:19)
"Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them." (47:4)
"The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them." (8:65)
"Muslims must not take the infidels as friends." (3:28)
"Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Quran." (8:12)
"Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels." (8:60)

Yes, the Old Testament does have some verses that can be argued as similar to the ones above such as "You must show no pity for the guilty! Your rule should be life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot." Deuteronomy 19:21 NLT

Christians believe that the Old Testament was the "Old Covenant" that was established through Moses between God and man and the New Testament is the "New Covenant" that was established through our Savior Jesus Christ and his death for our sins. This is why Christians place more weight on New Testament scripture and find the teachings of Jesus much more relevant than those of the Old Testament. For Christians, the Old Testament is great for teaching stories of morale and character, but look to the New Testament for how to live their lives. The ultimate goal for a Christian is to be "like Christ" in every way possible. Jesus always taught forgiveness, love, and kindness.

Here are some of Jesus's teachings of how Christians should treat their enemies.

"But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!" Matthew 5:44 NLT
"But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Luke 6:27 NLT
"Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then you reward form heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked." Luke 6:35 NLT

One can easily see the strikingly opposite teachings of the Christian's Jesus and Islam's Mohammad. I would argue that this is the true reason why there is a fundamental difference between reactions of these different faiths when they are persecuted by their enemies. I would also argue that this is the also the reason why it is politically incorrect to persecute Muslims, but fair game to persecute the Christians.

It is simple! It is OK to persecute Christians because everyone knows that they will do the peaceful thing and "turn the other cheek." Everyone knows that Christians will not be rioting in the streets and burning U.S. flags. They know that they will not be rising up and conducting terrorist attacks on embassies and killing our American heroes. I deplore you and everyone who reads this message, stop believing the liberal lies and do not fall into the trap of political correctness. See and speak the truth about the truth behind these religions. The biggest lie out there is that Islam is the "Religion of Peace!" I argue otherwise, I say the Christians are the "Religion of Peace." After all, I have always been led to believe that "Actions speak louder than words!"

Chick-fil-A is not the only Company with Christian Beliefs

Chick-fil-A is not the only company that shares Christian beliefs. There are other companies that have very similar beliefs and intentionally include these beliefs into their packaging and messages. Some of the most recognizable company brands are Tyson Foods, Forever 21, Interstate Battery, In-N-Out Burger, and Hobby Lobby.

Tyson Foods does not hide its faith either. The company offers chaplain services for all of their employees across America. Employees regularly use these chaplains to pray with them when they saddened by the loss of a loved one or when coping with a family emergency. Tyson's current chairman, John H. Tyson, is a born again Christian that has many of the same beliefs as Chick-fil-A's Dan Cathy and believes that values should not be pushed aside when he enters Tyson's doors. Tyson said this in 2010;

"My faith is just an ongoing evolution, trying to understand what faith in the marketplace looks like, giving people permission to live their faith  seven days a week, ... If people can talk about the football game on Monday, why can't they talk about their faith?"

Tyson is also know for donating very large amounts of food to America's poor and hungry.

Forever 21 was founded by devout Christians, Don and Jin Chang, whom migrated to America in 1981. Their company was originally started in Los Angeles and now have hundreds of locations all over the world. At the bottom of each bag, shoppers will find the popular John 3:16 verse that reads,

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

The chairman if Interstate Battery, Norm Miller, is another company leader that publicly discusses his faith in Jesus Christ. He goes to the extent to ask customers to give him prayer advice. His personal testimony on his web site says this,

"Norm Miller is also a believer in God's power to change lives, because it was that power that turned his own life around after years of drinking as hard as he worked,"

Miller actively encourages everyone to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior by repeating this prayer and accepting Jesus into your heart,

"Dear God, I want freedom from the slavery of my sin. I believe Jesus is the Truth, and I accept him now as my Lord and Savior. I ask you for forgiveness of my sins, because he paid for him for me. Please give me the power to live a life pleasing to You. Thank you for this gift of new and eternal life in Christ! In Jesus' name, Amen!"

Just like Forever 21, In-N-Out Burger, is a fast-food chain that is based in California and uses John 3:16 as a way to advertise its faith. The food chain places the verse on the bottom of its drinking cups.

Hobby Lobby is an Oklahoma City-based chain that has something very much in common with Chick-fil-A. It closes its more than 500 stores on Sundays and proudly mentions God on its website. Here are a few of the statements
listed in the company's state of purpose:

"Honoring the Lord in all we do by operating the company in a manner consistent with 
Biblical Principles.
Providing a return on the owners' investment, sharing the Lord's blessing with our 
employees, and investing in our community.
We believe that is by God's grace and provision that Hobby Lobby has endured. He 
has been faithful in the past, we trust Him for our future.

It is reported the Hobby Lobby is preparing the build a Bible museum in Washington, D.C.,
just blocks away from the National Mall. It will contain thousands of Biblical artifacts and
its mission will be to help others have a better understanding of the Old and New 
Testaments.

I guess the liberal pro-gay groups should boycott these companies just like Chick-fil-A or 
is it their 1st amendment right to free-speech to believe in what they want?

Off to Jail because of Home Bible Studies

Michael Salman, was recently sentenced by a Phoenix, Arizona court to serve 60 days of jail and fined $12,180.

What was the crime? Was it Tax evasion, wife or child abuse, or maybe failure to pay parking violations? No, not even close; it was for having Bible classes in his home. You are probably telling yourself right now that something else must be involved here; it cannot be possible that someone was arrested for this!

Nope, it is a pretty “cut-to-chase” story here. The only thing different about his Bible study than most is it became so popular that he built a small “garage-type” building in his back yard to support the numbers of attendees. The city of Phoenix now believes this building should meet the same law requirements as a church and is in violation of 67 city codes. Michael Salman had this to say:

“They’re cracking down on religious activities and religious use. They’re attacking what I, as a Christian, do in the privacy of my home … If I had people coming to my home on a regular basis for poker night or Monday Night Football, it would be permitted. But when someone says to us we are not allowed to gather because of religious purposes, that is when you have discrimination.”

This is frightening! To what extent should the government have control? What is next? If we are not careful, it will be illegal to have backyard BBQ’s because it is a fire hazard or you may need a city permit to have an Avon party in your house because your house is residential and not commercial.

Ask yourself this question. What if this man was a Muslim and teaching the Quran in his backyard? Do you believe he would face the same troubles with the law? Of course not! We all know this would have been politically incorrect and the liberal media would have had a “field day” with it!

Let me ask you another question. Did you hear about this story from the liberal media or was reading my blog your first knowledge of the facts. More than likely, your answer was the later because it would have also been “politically incorrect” for the liberal media to give coverage to a story that shows how insanely stupid our laws have become.

The left does not want to talk about these subjects because they know that most Americans would side with Mr. Salman and demand justice for him. They know that we would demand changes in laws like this or we will vote someone in that will change the laws. Friends, the truth is, they want everyone to be politically ignorant of these topics because control and power is what they desire.

The liberals will stop until every American has complete dependence upon the government. It is time that we “start smelling the roses” and wake up! The survival of our 1st amendment rights and American values is swiftly coming to an end if we do nothing.

Chick-fil-A is now my Favorite Restaurant!

A tasty food eatery called Chick-fil-A,
Under fire from liberals, and the gay,
Calling for protests,
And gay-kissing contests,
I want to “Eat Mor Chikin” all Day!

“Guilty as charged.” Dan Cathy’s response when asked if Chick-fil-A had an established position against same-sex marriage.

I would have to say that my response would be the same as Dan Cathy’s “Guilty as Charged” and if truth were told, the same for a majority of people in the United States. But, we all know that the truth will not be told because the liberal media and Obama’s blind lemmings will say and do whatever their Dictator-in-Chief commands them!

Many of the people that will protest against Chick-fil-A are self-proclaimed Christians or at least support Christian principles. One must be either blind or mentally ill to advocate something that goes against one’s own beliefs.

What really infuriates me is how “two-faced” these liberals are; they constantly go around preaching “tolerance, tolerance! We must accept everyone!” However, as soon as someone or especially a successful restaurant such as Chick-fil-A disagree with their beliefs, Oh Boy! Now it is on, “Tolerance!” is the last thing they will get. 

A majority of companies in the U.S. have a pro same sex marriage stance. Do you see Christian and anti same sex marriage groups protesting against them? No, and you will not because the truth is they are the true “Tolerant!” sect of people in America.

How do the liberal hypocrites look into a mirror and go to bed at night? Many of the most powerful liberals are very, very smart people. One must know that they know they live a lie every day. I really think many of these people must be evil or just do not have a conscience.

Someone please answer this question, why is ok to have one opinion, but not another? Why is it ok for companies to support gay marriage, but a “taboo” not to? Does not each have the same right to either agree or disagree with something?

This is what I think needs to be done. Those that oppose same sex marriage need to become just as motivated and “Stand” with Chick-fil-A. We clearly outnumber them at least 3 to 1 and will break their little “pro-gay-rights” campaign and protest against Chick-fil-A; but it will not stop there, we will also prove to these “two-face” cronies that America is still a “Christian” nation and going against those values is “great-for-the-business” they are attacking. 

I will not be surprised if this protest “backfires” on this movement and Chick-fil-A’s sales “go-through-the roof” and I pray that they do!

I know one thing, Chick-fil-A is now my favorite restaurant and I make a pledge right now to take myself and my family there as often as possible for as long as they continue to support the same values that I do.

The question is, “Will you join me?”

'Don't Cross God'

My Limerick Story:
Woonsocket is in a fight to keep a cross,

From liberals that think their ideology is boss,

Religious tolerance, they will enforce,

Except for Christians of course,

Would a Crescent Moon offend like a cross?

The Story:

Approximately 1,500 Veterans, Christians, and anyone with a halfway level head on their shoulders came out to support a WWII memorial in a park in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

The FFRF, Freedom from Religion Foundation, demanded that the ninety-one year old monument be removed from public lands because it has a cross on top.

Woonsocket’s mayor, Leo Fontaine, coined the phrase, “Don’t Cross God,” and is determined to keep the monument on city property and said the monument is not about religion or forcing it on anyone, but about honoring four local residents killed in WWI and II.

Major Gen. Reginald Centracchio, the former head of the Rhode Island National Guard, organized the pro-cross rally. Gen. Centracchiotold the crowd, “Than monument stays where it is, how it is,”

Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the FFRF, said this, “The law is on our side. We are not against veterans in any way. It isn’t necessary to honor veterans with a cross on public property … I think that reason is not prevailing right now. This is a lot of blowhards and emotion. Maybe they’ll get it out of their system.”

My Personal View:

Liberals are always quick to preach religious tolerance when it comes to Muslims, but Christians are always fair game. It amazes me how people do not see the religious persecution against Christians. To prove my point, I would like to present a scenario.

Replace the Christians in this story with Muslims and the Atheists with Christians and what do you get.

The answer is a major headline story!

Just imagine if Christians even attempted to remove an Islamic symbol from anywhere. The liberal media, Hollywood and the President would be all over them.

The exact same thing is happening to Christians every day in America and we do not hear a ‘peep’ from mainstream media outlets. With an exception of Fox News, one would have to go to a conservative outlet to find anything reported on these stories.

One of the signs in the photo says it best, “Freedom of Religion, not Freedom from Religion,” A cross on top of a monument does not in any way force religion upon anyone.

This is no different from the two Mosques I often drive by in my hometown. The sight of the crescent and moon on top does not offend me, nor does it make me feel like I a pressure to convert to Islam. Heck, it sounds ridiculous for me to suggest such a notion!

Here lies the problem, how has it become socially acceptable to believe atheists are truly offended by Christian symbols such as a cross or a nativity scene? The truth is they are not; they are no more offended by a cross than I am by a crescent and moon.

We must stop believing their lies and stop the attack on Christian values and beliefs. We must stand up and fight now before it is too late.

The Story:
Muslims have been ordered to fight until the only religion is Islam - world conquest. Even when they have overrun the world, there shall be no safe haven for "infidel disbelievers". This is as clear as a swastika.

As one can see, there is a fundamental opposing teaching philosophy difference between the Christian and Islam religions. I have only given you one example of this in the verses above. The Quran and the Bible have other verses that support these two opposing doctrines.

The Christian religion makes it clear to believers to “Love your enemies as yourself” and to “turn the other cheek”. This is evident in society today. Even after 9-11 and all the other attacks on us by Islam, we still to this day teachforgiveness and understanding.

I support this, but make something else very clear. There is a fine line between forgiveness and ignorance. We should continue to forgive, but also not forget that these attacks will continue. We cannot be stupid enough to believe loving our enemies will change them. We must take the appropriate steps to protect ourselves. We can continue to love our enemies while we defend ourselves.

The Islam religion also makes one of their teaching doctrines very clear.  Numerous verses in the Quran involve fighting, killing, defeat, etc. of the infidel.

Who are the infidels in the eyes of the Islamic extremist? Infidels are you, me, and any other person that has “conformed” to the “culture of the West”! Another definition would be any civilized society that does not live in accordance to “Sharia Law”.

This is the law that gives rights to “Honor Killings” and no rights to women and children in the Islam society. Women and children living under these laws are equal to the rights of an animal. Not only do they not have any rights, but also are bought and sold like camels. Muslim women are not even allowed to drive a car.

I will never forget, one time while serving in Iraq a local national attempted to buy my daughter for forty camels. Not long after that, another Iraqi tried to sell me his daughter. This illustrates the huge cultural barriers that separate our society from theirs. This gap cannot be breached by understanding or love.

This is a battle of cultural influence on each other’s society. The question is, which side is influencing or infiltrating the other the most? I cannot speak for our influence into their society because I do not live there, but all of us can see the influence Islam has on our own society.

Before influence can be successful, there first must be infiltration into the society. Below are some Muslims that have a high degree of influence within our current administration.

Salam al-Marayati, Founder and Executive Director of Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC): Marayati is an Iraqi immigrant that was nominated over a decade ago to serve on the National Commission on Terrorism. His nomination was withdrawn because of his active defense of Hezbollah and other Islamic groups. One of the founding members of MPAC, Hassan Hathout, was also a senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood and a former Egyptian prisoner. MPAC supports the Hezbollah “liberation movement.”

Arif Alikahn, Former Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Policy Development: He is presently serving as a Distinguished Visiting Professor of DHS and Counterterrorism at the National Defense University. Alikahn was prior Deputy Mayor for Public Safety in Los Angeles and reportedly sabotaged LAPD’s attempts to monitor radical mosques within the city that supported 9/11 hijackers. He has affiliations with MPAC.

Rashad Hussain, State Department Special Envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation: The Global Muslim brotherhood Daily Report uncovered that Hussain spoke at the Association of Muslim Social Scientists which was sponsored by the Muslim Brotherhood. Hussein also spoke at the Saudi funded Muslim Brotherhood directed Prince Alwaleed Center for Muslim Christian Understanding of Georgetown University. Hussain also participates in  a Muslim Brotherhood founded front group Muslim Students Association's annual conference. 
Mohamed Elibiarey, Homeland Security Advisory Committee Member: The former president of the Freedom and Justice Foundation, which was billed to "promote a Centrist Puble Policy environment in Texas by coordinating the state level government and interfaith community relations for the organized Texas Muslim community." In 2004, he spoke in Dallas at a conference praising the "Great Islamic Visionary" Ayatollah Khomeini. Recently, he is famous for leaking highly sensitive intelligence documents to media in Texas.

My personal view:
So, let me ask this question again; Who is the most successive at the infiltration of the other's culture and setting roots in the other's leadership. I do not know, but Islam has one good start with ours.

The Story

A major victory for Atheist in the United States Air Force!

Air Force officials have agreed to remove Bibles from rooms after receiving pressure by the Military Association of Atheist and Freethinkers (MAAF). MAAF’s goal is to contest “… insensitive practices that illegally promote religion over non-religion within the military or unethically discriminate against minority religions or differing beliefs.”

MAAF believes the presence of the Bibles in on-based military housing is “a special privilege for Christianity.”

After October 1^st 2012, the Air Force will no longer replace Bibles that are removed from the hotel rooms.

My View

Here we go! Another huge organization bowing to the demands of the minority. What about the feelings of the majority? I can guarantee you that there are many more people that like having these Bibles in the room than not. Besides, how does the Bible bother the Atheist anyway? No one forces these people to read the Bible.
